The main building in the gravel works stands on a masonry base with windows. This section has been built in stone with many irregularities just as in real life. The upper storey is of timber construction. A platform has been built onto this weather-resistant, partially aged main building to permit supervision of the goods wagons when they are loaded and unloaded. This platform is attached by wooden supports to the stone wall of the lower part of the building.
