Easily expand your garden railroad with a Metal Models 12" Concrete Pier.
Garden Metal Models 12" Concrete Pier. This new item is the perfect compliment to our Deck Girder Bridges. It is injection molded in tough ABS plastic with built-in U-V protection. It is almost 1/8" thick with internal reinforcing ribs. Molded in realistic concrete color and texture, it will be the center of attention on any garden railroad. All edges have prototypical chamfers. There are no holes thru the caps to allow use with any bridges, not just ours. There is a hole pattern underneath the cap that matches the slots in our Deck Girder bridges and allows you to securely bolt them together. Simply drill thru from the bottom of the cap with a 3/16 drill bit and use the bolts, washers, lock washers and nuts to secure bridge to pier. Assembly is fast and easy with the included screws. Gluing is optional, but recommended. ALL HARDWARE INCLUDED. Also included are 4 of our unique ground mounts. These brass brackets allow you to spike the pier securely to the ground or what ever surface the pier may be resting on. These will screw into the bottom of whatever height pier you use.
